Students must complete the educational program within the allotted maximum time frame for their program. This means that students must complete the program within a maximum amount of weeks as listed below.
COURSE | LENGTH | MAXIMUM TIME FRAME |
---|---|---|
Cosmetology - 5-Day Full Time (30) | 50 Weeks | 62 Weeks |
Cosmetology- 4-Night and Saturday Full-Time (26) | 58 Weeks | 71 Weeks |
Each student’s maximum time frame calculation includes school published closures. For transfer students who need less than full course requirements, the maximum time frame will be determined in weeks based on contracted hours to complete their program.
If any student fails to complete their program within the maximum time frame they will lose their eligibility for Title IV programs (Federal Student Aid) and may be terminated from the program.
Students who exceed the maximum time frame may be permitted to continue enrollment and be charged tuition fees accordingly, on a cash-pay basis. Students who are terminated for Maximum Time Frame are not guaranteed reenrollment, and continued enrollment requires the Student to make satisfactory payment arrangements with the School for the remaining cost of attendance to complete their program.
The Maximum Timeframe Policy applies to all students, regardless of whether they are cash-pay or receive Title IV financial aid. All hours attempted and completed are considered part of the Satisfactory Academic Progress calculation.
